FORT KENT – Jackie Masse scored two goals, including the game-winner in the first overtime period, as No. 2 Fort Kent posted a 2-1 win over No. 7 Caribou in a Class B Northeastern division schoolgirl soccer playoff game Saturday.

Masse’s game-winner came with 2:03 remaining in overtime as she dribbled around several defenders and launched the ball in from 20 yards away. Her first goal was off a direct kick with 15:55 remaining in the second half.

Goalie Heather Hartman stopped three of four shots for the 8-6-1 Warriors.

For 2-13-0 Caribou, Jenna Vincent converted a pass from Molly Bell. Leah Drew logged nine saves on 17 shots.

John Bapst 3, Hermon 0

At Bangor, Julie Crotty scored twice as the No. 3 Crusaders blanked the No. 6 Hawks.

Nicole Yeo chipped in with a goal for 11-2-2 John Bapst. Alex Waring made two saves on three shots.

Shannon Wiggin stopped nine of 21 shots for 1-11-3 Hermon.

Winslow 4, MDI 0

At Winslow, Brittany Morin scored a goal and chipped in with an assist to power the No. 1 Black Raiders.

Nicole Farrell, Mary Grose and Sarah Roderigue each contributed a goal for 14-1 Winslow. Jen Deane, Emily Moores and Amanda Roy had assists and Bethany Roderigue made eight saves on 10 shots.

Sarah Johnson stopped 20 of 33 shots for the No. 8 Trojans (2-12-2).

Mount View 1, Ellsworth 0 (PKs)

At Thorndike, Violet Soisson converted a penalty kick in sudden death to break up a tie that lasted through regulation and four overtime periods as the No. 4 Mustangs held on for the win.

The two teams played to a 0-0 tie after 120 minutes of play. Molly Hauser, Kelly Gennett and Jennah Brown each made a penalty kick for Mount View, now 8-5-2. Danielle Mayer made 14 saves on 16 shots during play, and stopped an Ellsworth penalty shot.

Sarah Briggs, Monica Gardner, Mallory Patten and Jodie Merchant knocked in PKs for the No. 5 Eagles (7-5-3). Victoria Jones stopped six of 10 shots.

Belfast 4, Camden Hills 1

At Belfast, Emily Bascone netted three goals as the No. 3 Lions topped the No. 6 Windjammers.

Rosie Hughes scored for 11-3-1 Belfast and Gillian Brundage added an assist. Emily Worth made three saves on four shots.

Caitlin Brown scored on a direct kick for 5-9-1 Camden Hills. Liv Mitchell stopped 13 of 17 shots.

Bucksport 3, MCI 1

At Bucksport, Jessie Taylor scored twice to lead the No. 2 Golden Bucks past Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield.

Brittany Damon added a goal and an assist for the 12-1-2 Bucks while Janna Simpson and Elissa Gordon handed out assists. Jana Richards made six saves on nine shots.

Jess Thompson scored the lone goal for the No. 7 Huskies, who finish 6-9. Jenn Cummings made 24 saves on 37 shots.

Orono 1, Houlton 0 (2OT)

At Houlton, Sarah Carlisle lofted a direct free kick over the Houlton wall and Maria Millard ran on to it and deposited it behind Shiretowner goalie Anna Lenentine with 2:32 left in the second overtime as No. 4 Orono upset No. 5 Houlton.

Marie Lent made six saves on nine shots for 8-4-3 Orono while Lenentine finished with seven stops on nine shots for the 8-5-2 Shires.

Class A

Presque Isle 5, Skowhegan 2

At Presque Isle, Marigan Bishop and Sarah Belden notched a goal and an assist each as No. 4 Presque Isle topped No. 5 Skowhegan.

Bailey Hovey, Natasha Deschene and Autumn Tuttle added goals for the 10-3-2 Wildcats. Jessica Price and Melissa DeMerchant combined for 16 saves on 23 shots.

Danielle McLaughlin registered two unassisted goals for the 0-6-3 Indians. Carmen Ballard stopped 25 of 32 shots.

Waterville 8, Brewer 1

At Waterville, Christine Serdjenian scored two goals and assisted on two more as the No. 2 Panthers cruised.

Eileen Dunn put in two goals and had an assist for 13-2 Waterville. Megan Willette chipped in with a goal and an assist. Erica Halle, Kaitie Quinn and goalie Lauren Tebbetts added one goal apiece. Tebbetts and Lindsey McMorrow combined for four saves on five shots.

Stacie Bean recorded an unassisted goal for the No. 7 Witches (3-12). Stephanie Dickey made 10 saves on 20 shots.

Hodgdon 2, Penobscot Valley 0

At Howland, Shanna McGary and Collette Sloat each scored a goal as the Hawks knocked off the Howlers.

Jessica Harris chipped in with an assist for No. 4 Hodgdon (4-9-2) and Lindsey Stewart made six saves on 25 shots.

Kylie McGinn stopped eight of 18 shots for No. 4 Penobscot Valley, now 3-10-2.

Narraguagus 4, Sumner 1

At Harrington, six different players got in on the scoring as the No. 3 Knights earned the win.

Lou Torrey scored on a direct kick and Linny Barbee netted a goal on an assist from Andrea Gage-Croll. Shelby Howe set up a Missy Barbee goal and Jen Strout knocked in a penalty kick. Sarah Snider made 14 saves on 15 shots for 10-2-1 Narraguagus.

Megan Ruhlin recorded a goal for the No. 6 Tigers of East Sullivan. Liz Brunton assisted on the goal and Hilary Page made 12 saves on 19 shots.

George Stevens 8, Dexter 0

At Blue Hill, Bethany Roberts scored three times and Anastasia Osage and Sarah Clapp added two apiece as No. 4 George Stevens Academy cruised into the semifinals.

Sara Patterson scored the other goal for 8-4-2 GSA and Kirstin Reuter had an assist. Sarah Kilch and Liz Tyler combined for five saves.

Daphne Robichaud stopped 11 of 21 shots for 7-7-1 Dexter.

Searsport 9, Washington Acad. 0

At Searsport, Jessica Larrabee scored three times and six other players added goals as top-ranked Searsport rolled over No. 8 Washington Academy of East Machias.

Lura Carroll, Theresa Cameron, Coleen Narofsky, Taralee Webster, Jessica Plourde and Jane Hall all tallied goals for the 11-2-1 Vikings. Holly Gracie and Jessica Wilson contributed two assists each and Narofsky added an assist. Mo Hall, Jessica Carroll and Webster shared time in goal, with Hall stopping Washington Academy’s only shot.

For the 0-11-0 Raiders, Emily Mawhinney totaled 21 saves on 45 shots.

Class D

Katahdin 2, Central Aroostook 1

At Mars Hill, Kylee McAvoy put in a rebound with 1:52 left in the third overtime as the No. 5 Cougars topped the No. 4 Panthers.

Krystal McMoarn got Katahdin of Sherman Station started with a goal 16 minutes into the game. Angela Qualey made five saves on nine shots for the 8-5-3 Cougars.

Jenna Robinson netted a goal three minutes after McMoarn’s score to tie the game for 9-3-2 Central Aroostook. Chantal Gagnon stopped 19 of 33 shots.

Van Buren 3, Fort Fairfield 0

At Van Buren, Nicole Corbin scored one goal and assisted on two more as the No. 2 Crusaders rolled.

Sarah Lajoie contributed a goal and an assist for 11-4 Van Buren. Jackie O’Hare also scored a goal and Danielle Gagnon made four saves on four shots.

Dani Searles stopped 12 of 19 shots for the No. 7 Tigers (5-9-1).

Lee 9, Washburn 1

At Lee, the No. 1 Pandas outshot the No. 9 Beavers 32-5 en route to the win.

Deidra Ham led Lee (15-0) with three goals. Jenny Stevens had two goals and an assist and Shelby Pickering chipped in with two goals. Melissa Hansom and Ashley Gifford scored one goal apiece, while Sam Cole and Ashley Linscott each added an assist. Katie Ahearn made four saves.

Heather Doody scored for 4-10-2 Washburn and Morgan Sickles stopped 14 shots.

Ashland 1, Limestone 0

At Ashland, senior Amanda Martin’s 57th career goal, coming with 8:36 remaining, gave third seed Ashland its hard-fought win over No. 6 Limestone.

Ashland is 12-2-1 while Limestone finished at 9-7.

Beth Chamberlain assisted on the game-winner and Kim Oakes made 10 saves on 17 shots to set Ashland’s schoolgirl record for shutouts in a season with 10.

Nikki Michaud made 19 saves on 28 shots.
