CARIBOU – Cary Medical Center will hold its 21st annual Health Fair at the hospital from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4. The highlight of year’s event will be an open house for the new Magnetic Imaging Center, which has been in development over the past year.

A number of free health screening clinics will be provided, including cholesterol, blood sugar and osteoporosis.

Another new activity for this year’s fair will be a mercury thermometer exchange program. Cary Medical has joined with a number of hospitals in Maine and the Maine Hospital Association in a mercury reduction program. The first 200 people who attend the health fair will receive a digital thermometer in exchange.
