CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Kim French’s unassisted goal at the 28:21 mark of the first half lifted the Boston College Eagles to a 1-0 field hockey victory over the Maine Black Bears Monday.

Lauren Hill made four saves on eight shots for 9-7 BC and Jaye Lance made six saves on 11 shots for 8-7 Maine.

Franklin Pierce 3, St. Joseph’s 1

At Windham, Stephanie Bradley scored two goals to lead 7-10 Franklin Pierce to the win.

Stephanie Page added a goal and April Demers had an assist for the winners. Kasie McClements made eight saves on nine shots.

Lisa Ham scored with an assist from Michele Gagnon for 6-10 St. Joseph’s and Laura Lombardi stopped eight of 11 shots.
