AUGUSTA – Alyssa LaBelle scored the game’s only goal just 24 seconds into the contest as No. 2 Messalonskee defeated top-ranked Cony in a Class A crossover regional field hockey semifinal on Wednesday.
Amy McMullin assisted on the goal for 13-3 Messalonskee of Oakland. Clarice Pepper made 15 saves on 17 shots.
Becca Giroux stopped 24 of the 27 shots she faced for 12-4 Cony of Augusta.
Skowhegan 3, Oxford Hills 0
At Skowhegan, Megan Bedard scored on a pass from Jessie Corison helping lead No. 1 Skowhegan.
Jess Dorman added a goal while Bri Searles scored on a free hit by Hayley King for the 14-2 Indians. Meghan Gove stopped four of four shots.
Kayla Baker made 10 saves on 17 shots for 10-6-1 Oxford Hills of South Paris, the No. 3 seed.

Winslow 4, MCI 0
At Winslow, Beth LaFountain scored three goals, leading the No. 2 Black Raiders to victory over the No. 4 Huskies of Maine Central Institute.
Kristen Roy had a goal while Diana Dorval and Katie Flaherty added assists for the 12-5 Black Raiders. Cierra Byrne made seven saves on eight shots.
Amanda Quint stopped six of 15 shots for 10-7 MCI of Pittsfield.
Class C
Piscataquis 3, Telstar 2
At Bethel, Kristy Levesque scored two goals to lead No. 2 Piscataquis of Guilford past No. 1 Telstar.
Karole-Anne Emery scored an unassisted goal while Amada Howard added an assist and Caterina Riitano stopped 13 of the 19 shots she faced for the 13-2-1 Pirates.
Katie Wight scored unassisted for 13-2-1 Telstar while Mariah Seames scored on a pass from Nikki Roberts. Maegan Gaudreau made 11 saves on 15 shots.
