PORTSMOUTH, R.I. – Tom Brown of Northeast Harbor is the top American and second overall in the 2.4 meter class at the World Disabled Sailing Championships of the International Foundation of Disabled Sailing. The championships began Oct. 26 and conclude today.
Brown, the 2000 Paralympic 2.4 metre bronze medalist, is 10 points behind Germany’s Heiko Kroger, who has won all six races. Norway’s Jostein Stordahl is third. Sailors representing nine countries are competing at the championships.
