4 granddaughters attending UMaine

ORONO – Four granddaughters of a Lincoln couple, Eugene and Marjorie Whitney, are attending the University of Maine at the same time.

Kati Whitney, the daughter of Tom and Jan Whitney of Lincoln, is a senior majoring in communications.

Laci Whitney, also the daughter of Tom and Jan Whitney, is a sophomore majoring in psychology.

Amanda Whitney, the daughter of Eugene Jr. and Melissa Whitney of Dummerston, Vt., is a senior majoring in psychology.

Lori Ann Stubbs, the daughter of John and Ann Stubbs of Bangor, is a freshman majoring in education.

In addition, a fifth Whitney grandchild, Scott Morrill, the son of John and Ann Stubbs, is a University of Maine graduate.
