Unopposed candidates win seats in Castine

CASTINE – With all candidates running unopposed, Castine voters elected a slate of municipal officers on Tuesday. Incumbent Selectman Peter Vogell received 294 votes to win another three-year term. Matthew Whitting was elected to a three-year term on the school committee with 278 votes.

CASTINE – With all candidates running unopposed, Castine voters elected a slate of municipal officers on Tuesday.

Incumbent Selectman Peter Vogell received 294 votes to win another three-year term. Matthew Whitting was elected to a three-year term on the school committee with 278 votes.

Hector MacKethan won a five-year seat on the Witherle Memorial Library board, receiving 259 votes, and Riva Berleant received 239 votes to win a one-year seat on that board.
