Katahdin Trust Co. has announced that Leslie Gardner has been promoted to retail lending supervisor at the bank’s main office in Patten. In her new position, Gardner will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the retail loan department, including administering the processing of retail loans for the bank’s 14 offices. Additional responsibilities include serving as assistant compliance officer and project coordinator of the department’s technical software.
Scott Lanpher has been named president of three corporations owned by Bob Chambers – Augusta Ford, Augusta Chevrolet Oldsmobile Cadillac, and Chambers Leasing. Lanpher has been with the company for more than 20 years, and has turned a small rental agency into a three-state Budget Rent-a-Car franchise. Chambers will be acting as chairman of the board of the three companies.
Kathy McKelway has joined MaineStream Finance, based in Bangor, as its loan fund manager. McKelway has worked in the loan and banking field for 20 years and has experience in subsidized housing; investment banking; and consumer, home, commercial and SBA lending and loan servicing.
The Aroostook Medical Center has announced the appointment of J.C. “Jim” Haley, M.D., MBA, to the position of vice president of physician practice services. The primary role of this position is as chief operating officer for Horizons Health Services. A native of Montana, Haley has been vice president of medical affairs at TAMC since 1999. He has practiced medicine in Washington state and Missouri, and has been a medical editor with the Saturday Evening Post.
The Warren Center for communication and learning of Bangor has hired Monique Gibouleau of Old Town as public relations manager. In her new position, Gibouleau will be responsible for marketing initiatives, media relations and creation of material for the center’s promotions and fund raising.
The Banknorth Investment Management Group has promoted Larry D. Pelletier to senior vice president. He will oversee business development and sales activities in Maine as well as the administrative services throughout the state.
