Belanger key to Unity win

UNITY – Aubrey Belanger from Bingham scored 11 points, including his 1,000th career point, to lead Unity College to a 77-65 men’s basketball victory over Northern Maine Technical College on Thursday.

Belanger also had 13 rebounds and eight assists.

Jeremy Kerbin led all scorers with 34 points, and he grabbed 12 rebounds. Noah Schneider added 16 points.

Derek Tompkins led the Falcons of Presque Isle with 21 points. Dave Jellison and Craig Durost added 11 and 10, respectively.
