BANGOR – Several libraries throughout the state are collecting the stories of patrons willing to share how libraries have changed their lives.
Bangor Public Library has forms in its main lobby that readers may use to tell their stories.
Entries need to be returned by Dec. 15, and the library will select five letters to send to the Maine State Library in Augusta.
The letters will be compiled and printed in a book.
For some, BPL staff said, reading may have changed their way of looking at the world. Others could have found information that helped them get a better job, while other people might read a newspaper or use a computer to connect them with the rest of the world.
For information, call Bangor Public Library at 947-8336.
