AUGUSTA – Family Connections, a program of Adoptive & Foster Families of Maine Inc., along with Family Health Resource Center and Families First, will host an information night for people who are raising grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The meeting will be held 6-8 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Family Health Resource Center, 257A Water St., Augusta.

Topics will include legal and financial assistance, respite care and health insurance coverage.

The intent is to start a support group for these “kinship providers.”
