DOVER-FOXCROFT- Penquis Community Action Program is seeking interested students for Aspirations for Young Entrepreneurs, a new after-school program open to all SAD 68 youths of age at no cost. An informational night for parents and students will be held at 6 p.m., Dec. 13, at Penquis CAP, 50 North St.

Students will learn how to transform their ideas and interests into a business of their own. Age-appropriate instruction will be provided on a range of business topics, including patents-trademarks, e-commerce, marketing, negotiating, accounting, financial management and obtaining financing. Activities will provide students with a practical application of what they have learned.

Speakers, field trips, conflict resolution workshops, community service projects and physical activities that build teamwork will be part of the program.
