Outlook: Maine is 0-4-1 in its last five trips to the Whittemore Center, scoring only three goals. Collins and Shields are two of Hockey East’s top-scoring newcomers. UNH hosted Boston College while Maine played at UMass Friday. Maine will have to stay out of the penalty box as UNH boasts a power play clicking at 25.4 percent. The Bears will also have to drive to the net and try to screen Carney and get some garbage goals. UNH was giving up just 2.06 goals per game entering Friday’s play. UNH and Maine will each be without one of their leading scorers as UNH will be without David Busch (broken hand) and Maine will be missing Todd Jackson (separated shoulder).
