Children’s sweaters, dolls with handmade clothes added to Santa’s fund

Some people get very creative when they think of ways in which they can contribute to the Santa’s Helper Fund. Dorothy Criscuolo of Brewer sent in 20 beautifully hand-knit children’s sweaters. T. Weymouth of Abbot sent five new dolls outfitted with homemade clothes. Another group of people, the Gloria Messier family and friends Christmas party, Old Town, contributed cash amounting to $800.

Whether you decide to contribute individually, as a family, or as a group of friends or co-workers, be assured we appreciate your support, and so will the many needy children and families whose lives you will touch through your generosity. Today’s donations bring the total raised to $13,612.66, which means we still have another $36,400 to go to reach our goal.
