Outlook: The Black Bears are coming off their first win – a decision over Division II Indiana Purdue-Fort Wayne. Greene may be banged up, but he’s still a major matchup problem for opposing teams, and was an all-tourney pick at the Michigan State tournament. The Black Bears must shoot the ball better than they are from the perimeter. Petkus and Todd Tibbetts are supposed to be the 3-point snipers, and they’re struggling. Petkus is connecting at a chilly .225 clip from behind the arc while Tibbetts can’t buy a hoop: He’s 4-for-29 (13.8 percent) on 3-point attempts. Bangor’s Campbell has emerged as a player UMaine coach John Giannini has faith in. After playing just 29 minutes in UMaine’s first five games, he played 34 minutes per game last weekend.
