ORONO – The University of Maine’s Leah Voss was the only America East player named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Northeast Regional All-American Team.

The senior and outside hitter from Gettysburg, Penn., was also named America East Conference Player of the Year after leading the league in digs and ranking in the top 10 in three other categories. She earned All-Conference First-Team honors in both seasons spent at UMaine, after transferring from Baltimore County Community College-Catonsville before the start of the 2000 season.
