SOLON – Nomination papers are available at the town clerk’s office. Positions up for election are: third selectman (three-year term), road commissioner (one-year term), tax collector-town clerk (one-year term), treasurer (one-year term), and school board director (three-year term).

Nomination papers are due back at the town clerk’s office by Jan. 16, 2002. Elections will be at the annual town meeting on Saturday, March 2, 2002.

Any taxes not paid by noon Thursday, Dec. 31, will be in the town report. Anyone who wants to submit an article for the annual town meeting must submit it to selectmen before 8 a.m. Jan. 19, 2002. For information call 643-2541.
