VAN BUREN – Senior guard Nicole Corbin poured in 43 points to power the Van Buren Crusaders to a 77-56 schoolgirl basketball victory over the Fort Kent Warriors Thursday night.
Corbin benefited from Van Buren’s fast-break game and scored many baskets in transition.
Michelle Parent chipped in with 17 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and Danielle Gagnon added 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Ashley Pelletier paced Fort Kent with 13 points and McKenzie Boucher netted 12.
