Alvin Beal led all scorers with 39 points. Beal was perfect from the free-throw line, connecting on all 11 of his attempts. Twenty-six of his points came as Jonesport-Beals built a two-point edge at halftime.

Bennet Gray paced the Mariners with 24 points. He connected on four 3-pointers. Josh Bolton added 18 points for Deer Isle-Stonington, while Roger Hardy had 13.

At Lee, the Pandas rallied from a 15-point third-period deficit to pull within two with three minutes to go, but Bangor Christian regrouped and posted the win.

Pat McCleary tallied 17 points, including the 1,000th of his career, for the Patriots. Ben Sobey pitched in with 17 more while David Chrisos scored 16, Kyle Bradford had 13, and Edward Carey notched 10.

Jeremy Ham tossed in five 3-pointers en route to 19 points for the Pandas. Frank Carpenter added 15, Frank Severance had 14 to go with 10 rebounds, and Dustin Pickering pulled down 10 boards.

On the ensuing possession, Washington Academy’s Nick Reynolds made one free throw, missed the second intentionally, but the Raiders’ last-second 3-pointer missed the mark.

Ryan Hutchins scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Eagles. Nick Henry added 11 points, as did Clapp.

Bob Richardson scored 18 and Reynolds had 17 for the Raiders of East Machias.

At the T.J. Ryan Center in Brewer, Colin Ingram and Patrick Bailey each knocked in a goal to lift the Broncos past the Wildcats.

Mike Brooks assisted on Bailey’s goal for 3-0 Hampden. Garrett McGowan made 17 saves in net.

Anthony Bohovich had the goal for 0-1 Presque Isle. Travis Shaw made 17 saves on 19 shots.

Gardiner 9, Stearns 4

At Houlton, the Tigers were led by four players with two goals each.

Ben Brown, Brian Jean, Kevin McKay, and Lake Gould each scored two goals for Gardiner. Brown also had four assists. Scott Moulton added a goal for the Tigers.

Matt Michaud led the Minutemen with two goals and two assists. Drew Summers and George Shurrette also scored for Stearns of Millinocket.

Brown, McKay, Gould, and Jean all scored their goals during power plays.

Spencer Lahaie had 26 saves for 2-0 Gardiner. Nick Simon stopped 35 shots for 1-1 Stearns.
