MANCHESTER – A Kents Hill man has lost his life in a one-car crash on Prescott Road.

Brett Norman, 18, suffered head and internal injuries Saturday night when his car went out of control on a hill, struck a guardrail and continued down an embankment, flipping onto its side and hitting a tree, state police said.

Rescuers from the Augusta and Manchester fire departments spent more than an hour working to free Norman from his car.

Norman was airlifted to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, where he died the next morning.
