Jon Carney powers MA Lynx past Lee

LEE – Mattanawcook Academy went on an 18-0 run at the end of the first quarter Tuesday night, pulling out to a lead it would retain on the way to a 93-83 schoolboy basketball victory over Lee Academy.

Jon Carney led the Lynx of Lincoln with a game-high 29 points while Matt Malone and D.J. LaPlante each scored 16. Nathan Cousineau contributed 11.

Jeremy Ham had 25 points to pace Lee while Jason Mallett, Frank Severance and Frank Carpenter each added 12. Nate Dow chipped in with 11 points.
