White 3-pointer drives Ponies past Old Town

OLD TOWN – Dan White nailed a 3-pointer from the right side of the key with 10 seconds left to give Foxcroft Academy a 53-52 schoolboy basketball win over Old Town Wednesday night.

White finished with a game-high 29 points including 18 in the second half and 12 in the fourth quarter.

Matt Carey had 13 points for the winners.

The Indians, whose two losses have been by a total of three points, received 15 points from Shawn Kenniston, 11 from Kevin Emerson, 10 from Brian Tewhey and nine from Tyler Tracewski.
