GREENVILLE – Senior forward Tyler Muzzy scored his 1,000th career point on a pair of free throws with four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter Friday night as Greenville rolled to 63-40 schoolboy basketball victory over Rangeley.
Muzzy finished with 23 points and 17 rebounds. He was 23 points shy of the 1,000-point mark heading into the game.
Bobby Gilbert chipped in with 19 points for the Lakers.
For Rangeley, Neil Stewart notched 16 and Jim Goodwin put in 10.

At Houlton’s Millar Arena, senior center Pat Skall scored a career-high six goals and assisted on another to power undefeated and untied Orono to its third win.
Mike Merritt had a goal and an assist and Will Toner and Mark Caggiano each added goals. Branislav Srnka had two assists with Nick Dwyer and Paul Pangburn picking up one each. Nate Faulstick made 29 saves.
Merritt broke a 3-3 tie in the second period and Skall added two of his six to supply the Riots with a three-goal cushion entering the final period.
Josh Moore and Drew Somers had a goal and an assist apiece with Matt Michaud and Tyler Pelkey notching the other goals. Nick Simon made 38 saves.
More high school hockey action will be played Saturday before the teams take a holiday break.
