Timothy P. Nightingale of Brewer has been promoted to vice president and senior lender at UnitedKingfield Bank. In his new position, Nightingale supervises a staff of six and oversees the general production, collection and administration of UnitedKingfield Bank’s loan portfolio. He is also responsible for insuring that the bank’s lending policies and procedures are followed correctly. Nightingale joined UnitedKingfield Bank in April 2000 as a regional vice president and market manager, and currently works in the bank’s Bangor branch. He has 18 years of experience in banking, having previously served in commercial lending positions with KeyBank, Fleet Bank and Casco Northern Bank.
Alan Burton, director of Safety & Human Resources for the Pittsfield-based Cianbro Corp., has been elected 2002 president of the Downeast Maine Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors. The chapter, a member of ABC National, has members throughout the state. Burton will continue to serve as chair of ABC’s Downeast Construction Education Foundation and is a driving force in developing partnering opportunities with Maine’s vocational educational system.
