The following divorces were granted in 5th District Court in Belfast during November on grounds of irreconcilable marital differences:

John P. Meltzer, Arundel, and Susan C. Thiem, Lincolnville, married at Lincolnville on Aug. 7, 1980, shared custody of one child.

Larry M. Brown and Karen E. Brown, both of Belmont, married at Albany, Ky., on Oct. 12, 1991.

Adam W. Adriance, Brooks, and Amy L. Adriance, Bradford, R.I., married at Camden on Aug. 31, 1995, shared custody of one child.

Albert E. Carbonell, Stockton Springs, and Evelyn A. Carbonell, Goldsboro, N.C., married at New Britain, Conn., on July 19, 1958.

Arthur I. Poland, West Waldoboro, and Cynthia A. Poland, Searsmont, married at West Waldoboro on Oct. 6, 1979, shared custody of one child.

Brian E. Libby, Bucksport, and Diane V. Libby, Stockton Springs, married at Stockton Springs on July 9, 1983, shared custody of two children.

Matthew LaRochelle, Belfast, and Persephone LaRochelle, Northport, married at Belfast on Nov. 23, 1996, custody of two children to the mother, Persephone LaRochelle to change her name to Persephone Baughman.

James M. Wadsworth, Camden, and Sarah C. Wadsworth, Lincolnville Center, married at Rockport on Aug. 20, 1995, Sarah C. Wadsworth to change her name to Sarah Houston Chatfield.

Vern P. Thompson, Stockton Springs, and Billie J. Thompson, Winterport, married at Stockton Springs on Aug. 6, 1996, shared custody of one child, Billie J. Thompson to change her name to Billie J. Allen.
