Former University of Maine basketball star and current Sacramento Monarchs guard Cindy Blodgett may have taken her game to South Korea this winter.
Blodgett’s name appears on a roster for the Kumho Falcons, which is sponsored by Kumho Life Insurance. Two other WNBA players are also on the Falcons’ roster: Sheri Sam, who plays for the Miami Sol, and Latasha Byears, who was traded to the L.A. Sparks from the Sacramento Monarchs last year.
The Falcons’ season started Dec. 17
Blodgett averaged 3.1 points in 6.5 minutes per game with the Monarchs in the 2001 season, her fourth in the WNBA.
