Enough is enough

It infuriates me to imagine Peter Rees snuggled into his warm home in Trenton whining about the hypocrisy of the actions of our government over the past few weeks, yet I would imagine he is content to enjoy the freedoms our government and our brothers, sisters, sons and daughters, are risking their lives to provide to him.

There are times when action is required. Rees would like to use the term retaliation, which is simply semantics; for every action there is a distinct reaction, physics 101. Yet, we have allowed the actions of these terrorist organizations to go on without recourse, and their actions are escalating in scope and in the loss of human life. In the words of King Arthur, “There is a peace that can sometimes only be found on the other side of war.” I am convinced this is the case, today.

How many times would Rees prefer that we turn the other cheek, and allow our fellow Americans to die? Our embassies have been bombed, the USS Cole savagely attacked, and now for the second time the World Trade Center has been targeted. There comes a time when enough is enough, and action must be taken, and the prince of peace (to quote Rees) also showed us this. For example, when he parted the sea to allow Moses and his followers to pass and then crushed the soldiers that pursued them.

Enough is enough.
