Lee tips Woodland in 2OT Pickering, Cole, Ham pace Pandas to sixth victory

WOODLAND – Shelby Pickering and Sam Cole each had a basket in the second overtime and Deidra Ham made five free-throws in the extra periods, as the Lee girls basketball team knocked off Woodland 65-59 in double overtime Saturday in high school action.

Pickering and Ham each finished with 21 points for the Pandas. Lee went 8-for-12 from the free-throw line in overtime and 13-for-15 overall.

Julia Knights had 20 points and 12 rebounds for the defending Class D champion Dragons. Kaitlyn Leeman contributed 14 points and eight assists and Katie Smith chipped in with 13 points.
