Big School (Classes A-B)

Will Toner

Toner, a senior left winger on the Orono hockey team, scored two goals, including the game-winner, in a 6-3 victory over Old Town Dec. 26, and had three goals Dec. 27 in a 7-0 win over John Bapst. Orono is 5-0.

Small School (Classes C-D)

Duane Ledien

The George Stevens of Blue Hill junior guard hit a 3-pointer to send the Class C Eagles’ Dec. 27 game against previously undefeated Class B Bucksport into overtime. Ledien scored 13 points in the 68-66 win.

Isobel Herbold

The Bangor High freshman swimmer helped power the Rams to the Westbrook Invitational crown Dec. 29 with first-place finishes in the 200-yard free and the 500 free. Herbold also anchored the winning 200 medley relay and 400 free relay.

Small School (Classes C-D)

Deidra Ham and

Shelby Pickering

Ham, a Lee senior, and Pickering, a Lee freshman, each scored 21 points in a 65-59 overtime victory over defending Class D champion Woodland Dec. 29.
