MACHIAS – Business issues that lawmakers will consider during this session of the Legislature will be explained during the Machias Bay Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast at the Bluebird Ranch Restaurant on Friday.

The guest speaker for the 8 a.m. program will be Christopher Hall, lobbyist and legislative counsel for the Maine Chamber and Business Alliance. Hall will review legislation dealing with business taxes, health insurance and unemployment compensation.

The public is invited.

The buffet breakfast and program are $6 for Chamber members and $7 for nonmembers.
