ELLSWORTH – A snowmobile and snowmobile trailer worth a total of $10,000 last week were reported stolen.

According to Ellsworth police, the snowmobile and trailer were owned by AT&T Wireless and were taken from the company’s tower location on Route 3. A company employee told police the items were stolen sometime between Christmas Day and 12:30 p.m. Jan. 4. Both the snowmobile and the trailer were 2001 models, police said.

The theft is under investigation.
