Do you think anone will forget?

The words poor taste cannot begin to describe your display of the photo of the flag raising at ground zero together with that of the individual falling from the World Trade Center. I can only pray that someone who lost a friend or loved one that day does not see that picture and recognize (or think they recognize) that poor soul.

There is a fine line to be walked between the public’s need and/or right to know and responsible journalism.

It is my understanding that many newspapers declined to publish this type of photo, out of respect to the victims, their families and their readers. Too bad the Bangor Daily News wasn’t one of them.
