AUGUSTA – Speedway 95 was well represented at the 2002 Northeast Motorsports Expo at the Augusta Civic Center this past weekend with six exhibitors displaying their cars for the racing season.
Matt Eaton of Deer Isle won the Best-of-Show trophy as well as the Best Graphics award. Also representing Speedway 95 at the show were pro stock drivers Dwayne Seekins of Stockton Springs and 2001 Rookie of the Year Dwayne Overlock of Surry, limited sportsman drivers Al Griffin of Levant and Dale Swoboda of Hermon and Duane Dunifer of Carmel. Also, representing the Partnership for a Tobacco Free Maine racing team was Mike Thomas of Etna.
