Outlook: Boston College is better than its record indicates. The Eagles have overtime road losses to nationally ranked Niagara and Dartmouth among their five one-goal setbacks. Freshman Davis has given the vastly improved Eagles quality goaltending. But the Eagles have had problems putting the puck in the net as they have averaged just 1.62 gpg. Maine has also had its difficulties scoring, averaging 3.21 gpg. Thirty-two of Maine’s 58 goals (55 percent) have come from the line of Aarts-Sjogren-Droog. BC is 0-for-36 on the power play so a power-play goal could give them a huge lift. Maine must drive to the net and generate garbage goal opportunities. They also need to shoot more.
