BANGOR – Erinne Magee scored 11 points in the third quarter on three 3-pointers and two free throws Wednesday night to help Bangor pull away for a 62-47 schoolgirl basketball victory over John Bapst of Bangor.
The Rams led 25-21 at the half, then outscored the Crusaders 24-14 in the third to build a 14-point lead. Magee finished with 21 points and Katherine Miller turned in 18 points, eight rebounds and five steals. Ashley Tower pitched in with 10 points.
Nicole Yeo paced John Bapst with 14 points.

At T.J. Ryan Arena in Brewer, Pat Skall and Branislav Srnka recorded two goals and an assist each as Orono remained unbeaten at 8-0.
Mike Merritt netted two goals, and Ian Ferguson and Mark Caggiano each scored one for the Red Riots, who provided coach Greg Hirsch with his 100th career coaching victory in only his seventh season. Paul Pangburn dished out two assists and Will Toner added one. Nate Faulstick stopped 18 of 21 shots.
For the 3-5 Broncos, Adam Standley had two goals and an assist, Greg Taylor logged a goal and an assist and Greg Brown had an assist. Garrett McGowan made 23 saves on 31 shots.
