Perkins, Allen drive Penquis

MILO – The Penquis Patriots held Central to just 13 points in the first half and rolled to a 55-35 schoolboy basketball win on Thursday night.

Dustin Perkins scored 14 for the Patriots while Justin Allen picked up 11 points and Terry Joyce added 10.

Joey Kane led the Red Devils of Corinth with nine.

At Rockport, Troy Gabriele nailed six 3-pointers in the third quarter to rally Camden Hills and Tyler Warren scored eight of his 12 points in the fourth to help the Windjammers win.

Gabriele, who finished with seven 3-pointers, totaled 24 points and Warren added 12 points.

Andrew Sinclair paced Maine Central Institute with 18 points and Sindre Vad put in 15.

Zev Myerowitz scored a game-high 25 points for the Crusaders.

At Sawyer Arena in Bangor, John Huhn scored with 2:37 left in overtime to lift the Rams over the Crusaders.

Tim Woodcock and Eddie Frost assisted on Huhn’s goal. Kyle Baker and Pat Frazier each chipped in with a goal. Huhn and Ben Payson added an assist apiece, and Dominic Dinardo stopped 19 of 21 shots for 2-5-1 Bangor.
