MOUNT DESERT – Brandon Colbeth connected on all eight of his free throws in the fourth quarter, including both ends of a one-and-one with six seconds remaining, to lead Mount Desert Island to a 48-44 boys basketball victory over Orono Friday night.
Colbeth finished as the game’s leading scorer with 15 points, including 9-for-10 from the line. Kyle Jones added 11 points for the Trojans.
Mike Socoby and Derek Sinclair each added 11 points for the Red Riots.
