New Cianbro manager already a familiar face

PITTSFIELD – Cianbro Corp. recently promoted Frank Susi of Bangor to regional manager for northern New England.

Susi, a 25-year Cianbro veteran, leads more than 1,000 team members in the construction of power plants, bridges, hospitals, parking garages, and marine and heavy industrial projects.

Since joining Cianbro in 1976, Susi has worked his way up through Cianbro’s engineering and management ranks before assuming his current position. Overseeing operations offices in Pittsfield and Portland, Susi is responsible for more than two dozen construction projects across Maine and parts of New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts.

Cianbro President Pete Vigue had high praise for Susi.

“Frank’s entire career has been focused on the success and growth of our company. His past accomplishments will act as a springboard in meeting future challenges and opportunities,” Vigue said.

“Frank’s vast experience and knowledge of our industry combined with a great sense of humor and a caring personality make him one of our best managers,” said Mac Cianchette, vice president of operations. “I have worked very closely with Frank over the years and look forward to his continued support and leadership.”

A strong believer in teamwork who is excited about the future, Susi said, “I look forward to working closely with our entire NNE team and the challenges that the year 2002 will bring.”
