The center, located on the town line between Presque Isle and Fort Fairfield, features a lodge, world-class cross-country ski trails, lights for night skiing, a biathlon range and parking. It will be completed this spring. The ski trails are open to the public free of charge.

Tim Doak, Kelly Kingsbury and Greg Collins were instrumental to the success of the fund-raiser, along with contributions from Soderberg Construction, Langille Construction Inc., County Electric Inc. and R.L. Todd & Son Electrical.
