DOVER-FOXCROFT- SeDoMoCha Middle School received a $500 grant from the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance program to support the school’s effort to expand technology education for students.

Andrew Foster of Main Street Mobil in Dover-Foxcroft worked with school officials to secure the grant, which is one of 4,000 available to schools across the country served by Exxon or Mobil stations. The grant will be used to purchase a digital camera.

“We are proud to be part of the efforts by SeDoMoCha Middle School to continue to provide outstanding educational opportunities to the young people of SAD 68,” Foster said recently.

In addition to the grant, ExxonMobil will donate two cents for every gallon of gasoline sold on Tuesdays during February. When customers use their Mobil Speed Pass to pay for their purchases on Tuesday, the company will donate an additional ten cents per transaction.

The ExxonMobil Educational Alliance program is designed to provide Exxon and Mobil retailers with an opportunity to invest in their communities through educational grants to area schools.
