PRESQUE ISLE – Melissa Demerchant scored seven of her eight points in the fourth quarter and Autumn Tuttle connected on five of six free throws in that stanza to help the Presque Isle Wildcats knock off the Hampden Academy Broncos 47-39 in schoolgirl basketball action Saturday.
Tuttle topped all scorers with 16 points while Billi Blanchard connected for 15 for Presque Isle.
Megan Magoon had 16 points to lead Hampden Academy while Emmy Russell tossed in 12.
