FORT KENT – New Year’s babies from 1953 to 2002 will gather at Northern Maine Medical Center on Friday, Jan. 25, as the hospital begins its yearlong 50th anniversary celebration.

The afternoon reception will provide an opportunity for the New Year’s babies, their spouses, parents and other guests to gather with medical and nursing staff and compare stories. Those attending also will have the opportunity to tour the obstetrics unit and meet with the nursing staff.
