Emerson gives Knights last-second win in OT

HARRINGTON – Brandon Emerson dribbled the length of the court in the final six seconds of overtime and hit a layup with six-tenths of a second to play to give Narraguagus a 70-69 boys basketball victory over Sumner Friday night.

Emerson finished with 20 points, including eight in overtime. Luke Shaw scored 15 points, including two 3-pointers in the final 50 seconds of regulation. His final 3-pointer was a buzzer-beater that sent the game to overtime. Darren Fraser and Steven Knapp added 11 points apiece.

Jamie Polk tallied 21 points for the Tigers of East Sullivan while Dylan Johnson added 15 and Justin Winslow had 13.
