Way to go, Pat LaMarche, for suing a police officer for doing his job (BDN, Jan. 25). What kind of a message does that send? If my memory serves me correctly, she refused a breathalyzer test which would have proven innocence or guilt immediately, and then hired a hotshot lawyer to work the loopholes.
My son was killed by a drunken driver. I wish Brewer Police Officer Daniel Costain had been on duty back then to stop that drunken driver. I am thankful for all the Officer Costains out there trying protect us.
