Valentine’s ball tickets available from firemen

BANGOR – Tickets for the Bangor Fire Department’s Valentine’s Ball to be held from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Bangor Banquet and Conference Center on Hogan Road are now on sale.

With less than two weeks to go, the Bangor Fire Department encourages anyone interested in going to the annual Ball to stop by the Central Fire Station on Main Street to purchase their tickets which sell for $50 per couple. The event is open to the public. Proper dress attire is required and firefighters are encouraged to wear their dress blue uniforms. Proceeds from the 6th Annual Firefighter’s Valentine’s Ball benefit the Hose 5 Fire Museum on State Street. For information call 942-6335.
