PRESQUE ISLE – United Way of Aroostook County is looking for volunteers to serve on its Fund Distribution Task Force.

These volunteers will identify and recommend funding levels for programs that are meeting The County’s most crucial needs. The task force will meet a number of times between mid-March and the end of April.

A total of 30 agencies and programs that provide services to nearly 20,000 County people are sharing in more than $263,000 raised during the last year’s annual fund-raising campaign. For information or to volunteer, call 764-5197.
