ORONO – Several activities have been scheduled for Franco-American Month at the University of Maine. They are:
. Feb. 8, Josee Vachon in concert, 7 p.m., Minsky Recital Hall, Class of 1944 Hall. Tickets, $5 at the door.
. Feb. 12, Mardi Gras at York Dining Commons, music by Joel Morneault. Seatings at 4:30 and 5:45 p.m. 581-4959.
. Feb. 18, reading of recent works by Rhea Cote Robbins, noon, Soderberg Hall, Jenness Hall.
. Feb. 22, Buckwheat Zydeco concert, 8 p.m., Maine Center for the Arts. 581-1755 or (800) MCA-TIXX.
. Feb. 24, Elder Fire, The Maine Poetry & Story Exchange, reading by Marie Therese Marting of poetry written by herself and her husband, 6-8 p.m., Estabrooke Hall Lounge.
. Feb. 26, Franco-American History, in memory of Robert LeBlanc, 12:30-2:30 p.m., Soderberg Hall, Jenness Hall.
