WATERVILLE – Mike Wilcox scored off a runner in the lane with 5.7 seconds left to help give the UMaine-Farmington Beavers a 74-71 men’s basketball victory over the Colby College White Mules Wednesday night.
Bob Deetjen paced UMF with 19 points and Steve Ginn added 16. Wilcox notched six assists.
Damien Strahorn poured in 31 points for Colby and Nick Loukes chipped in with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
