Police said they arrested a woman Thursday afternoon when she failed her field sobriety test after being stopped while driving on Hammond Street.
Kimberly Furbish, 33, of Bangor was driving 41 mph in a 25-mph zone when Officer Shawn Green pulled her over. As Green administered the field sobriety test, Furbish repeatedly began her tests before Green had asked her to begin, police said. She claimed she could not walk backward because of a “chemical imbalance in her head.” Green had not asked her to walk backward at that time.
Furbish was charged with OUI, warned about speeding, and was summoned for failure to show proof of insurance.
Roy Miller, 29, of Bangor was summoned Thursday afternoon after a complaint was filed at the Bangor Police Department.
According to police reports, Miller allegedly had been seen masturbating in front of a large window in his home on Palm Street. The filer of the report, a 53-year-old woman, reported that this behavior has been going on for about a year. She also stated that Miller was well aware of her whereabouts and that she could see him. Upon speaking with Officer Larry Morrill about the charge, Miller claimed he has a piercing “down there” and was merely changing the piercing so it did not heal over, and needed the sunlight to be able to see more clearly.
Miller was summoned for indecent conduct.
