Chris Remsen
The Camden Hills sophomore wrestler won his second straight individual state championship with a pin in the 135-pound weight class final at the Class B meet in Bangor Saturday.
Small School (Classes C-D)
Dave Maguire
The Bucksport senior wrestler won a state championship and capped an unbeaten season in the 130-pound weight class with a pin in the championship final in Bangor Saturday. Last year, Maguire failed to make weight and wasn’t able to wrestle in states despite being a No. 1 seed.
Girls
Big School (Classes A-B)
Libby Caldwell
Caldwell, an Old Town sophomore, won the 100-yard freestyle and the 100 backstroke, and swam on the Indians’ second-place 200 medley relay and 400 free relay teams as Old Town finished in second place at Saturday’s Penobscot Valley Conference swimming championships.
Small School (Classes C-D)
Meagan Cyr
Penobscot Valley’s 5-foot-6 senior guard racked up 68 points, including the 1,000th of her career, in the Howlers’ final three games this season.
